Teams with iOctane to Release ProVision Process Pod for Metastorm BPM™

BALTIMORE, MD – September 6, 2006 – Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software for modeling, automating, integrating, and improving both human and system-based processes, today announced the creation of a groundbreaking interface between Proforma’s ProVision enterprise business modeling suite and the Metastorm BPM suite. Using the Metastorm Process Pod™ framework, iOctane has created a packaged solution to allow rapid deployment of ProVision process models on the Metastorm BPM software platform – providing a mechanism for automating, managing, and analyzing process performance and optimizing processes over time.

Built using Proforma’s Common Interchange Format (CIF), the ProVision Process Pod for Metastorm BPM enables Business Analysts the ability to take workflow model designs directly into the Metastorm BPM Designer.
