Proforma Expands Common Interchange Format Consortium with Addition of Brazilian-based Image Technology

Partnership Answers Growing Demand in South America for End-to-End Support of Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Process Management (BPM)

SOUTHFIELD, MICH. --December 12, 2006-- Proforma Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise modeling solutions, today announced that Image Technology, a Brazilian company specializing in the development of software products that raise productivity and self-knowledge of business processes, has joined the Common Interchange Format (CIF) Consortium.

Image Technology is the first CIF Consortium member from South America, thus answering demand for end-to-end support of business process analysis (BPA) and management (BPM) in that region. The integration of Proforma's ProVision enterprise modeling tool with Image Technology's Agiles BPMS platform will provide a process-driven environment for organizations to model, analyze, implement, and continuously improve their business processes. Using the CIF approach, organizations that have modeled and designed optimal business processes in ProVision can implement them quickly and accurately with Agiles.

In addition to Image Technology, CIF Consortium participants include Appian, DST Technologies, Fujitsu, InRule, Lombardi Software, Metastorm, OpenConnect, Pegasystems, Savvion, Trinity Millennium Group Inc. and WorkPoint. These members have agreed to develop the CIF-based interfaces required to interoperate.
