Metastorm Customer Recognized in Computerworld Excellence Awards
Dispute Resolution Services Ltd. Wins Excellence in Customer Service Category
BALTIMORE, MD – August 29, 2007 – Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced that its customer Dispute Resolution Services Ltd. (DRSL), an impartial dispute resolution service based in New Zealand, has been selected a winner in the 2007 Computerworld Excellence Awards. DRSL won the award based on its implementation of the Metastorm BPM® software suite, which provided a platform for improved customer service processes.
The 2007 Computerworld Excellence Awards celebrate achievements of leading ICT users. DRSL won in the ‘Excellence in Customer Service’ category for its use of BPM to make complex customer service processes easier to manage and to enable staff to provide more effective, efficient and timely services. The project has significantly improved DRSL’s day-to-day business operations and business reporting, while at the same time providing a streamlined, more responsive service to customers.
Metastorm partner TechTonics, an infrastructure services and information management specialist, developed the solution for DRSL that won the award. TechTonics built the system using Metastorm BPM integrated with the Hummingbird/OpenText document management system and Microsoft Outlook. This integration was achieved using the Metastorm Process Pods developed by TechTonics. TechTonics has also recently been commissioned by DRSL to further develop the BPM application so that DRSL is able to extend its services to a significant new customer sector.
