Metastorm Recognized in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Program for 5th Consecutive Year

Global Software Provider’s Growth Fueled by Hot BPM Market and Strategic M&A

BALTIMORE, MD – October 3, 2007 – Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced that it has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Maryland, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the state by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2002–2006. This is the fifth consecutive year that Metastorm has been recognized as a Deloitte Fast 50 company.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must meet a minimum growth rate and size, be headquartered in Maryland, and own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

Metastorm has established itself as a proven, enterprise-scale BPM Suite, providing its customers with a software platform that allows them to model, automate, integrate, monitor, analyze and improve core business processes. The BPM market has been growing rapidly and analysts forecast it will continue to be a hot area.
