The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is an Enterprise Architecture framework developed by a broad forum/consortium of organizations and individuals and is intended to provide a comprehensive approach to designing, planning, implementing, and governing the four basic architecture categories - Strategy, Business, Information, and Technology.
TOGAF is one of the major Frameworks that Metastorm ProVision supports.
TOGAF is an EA framework providing a comprehensive approach to designing, planning, implementing, and governing the four basic architecture categories - Strategy, Business, Information, and Technology. Metastorm is working with The Open Group to develop a ProVision®-based version of their Architecture Development Methodology (ADM). This is a set of best practice processes for enterprise architects and is scheduled to be released as the "EA ProGuide" in 2009.
