Who should attend:
Metastorm BPM professionals with hands on experience with Metastorm BPM who wish to upgrade their skills to Metastorm BPM 9.
Prerequisites:
It is recommended that attendees have experience with Microsoft Windows (Ribbon based user interface) products, Metastorm BPM, fundamental relational database concepts, utilization of SQL statements, active directory/LDAP, web services & application development experience utilizing scripting languages such as C# and JScript.
Class Objectives:
After completion of the two days of the instructor led training, the student will have a good level of hands-on development experience with the standard Metastorm BPM 9 architecture and tools while obtaining the necessary skills to develop a business process management solution utilizing Metastorm BPM 9.
Specific outcomes include:
- Compare and contrast the difference between prior versions of Metastorm BPM and Metastorm BPM 9
- Properly utilize and maintain the system architecture of the Metastorm BPM 9 environment
- Navigate and configure the Metastorm BPM Designer
- Develop complete Metastorm BPM solutions
- Develop complete Metastorm BPM projects
- Develop and Metastorm BPM processes
- Develop and maintain Metastorm BPM forms
- Leverage the Metastorm BPM Designer tools
- Develop and maintain Metastorm BPM lanes and roles
- Develop and maintain database business objects
- Analyze SQL commands and ProcessContext.UserInput
- Integrate Metastorm BPM with active directory objects and attributes via LDAP
- Integrate Metastorm BPM and web services
- Manage process data business object parameters
- Integrate .NET assemblies with Metastorm BPM
- Develop and maintain C# server side scripts
- Develop and deploy libraries
- Promote custom functions to the Expression Builder and Visual Scripting Toolbox
- Develop and maintain multi lingual processes (MLP)
