Future developers and users of Metastorm Integration Manager(MIM) for Managed File Transfer(MFT)
Prerequisites:
This introductory-level class is intended for students who will be responsible for working in a MIM for MFT environment to support data movement and integration. You should possess some familiarity with networking, programming and computer fundamentals and have a working knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ or have completed Metastorm's WebSphere MQ® class. You should be reasonably familiar with:
- WebSphere MQ configuration
- Concepts of WebSphere MQ distributed messaging
- WebSphere MQ architectural concepts
Class Objectives:
After completion of this two-day course, you will be able to apply a basic working knowledge of MIM for MFT integration capabilities including:
- Adding exits to Transfer Requests
- Working with available sample exits
- Working with the XMScript programming language
- Working with XML data in XMScript Programs
- Writing custom exits with the XMScript programming language
- Adding custom status to exits
