METASTORM TERMS OF SERVICE
 
Metastorm provides this online community as a service to its customers and partners, to help them exchange ideas, tips, information, and techniques related to our software. This online community is here for the enjoyment and benefit of all members, and is accessible to all who register. Like any community, they are most valuable when everyone obeys certain basic guidelines and rules for online behavior. These guidelines and rules are presented here so that you know what is expected of you and what you can expect from other participants when using the online community. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY.  By registering you agree to follow these Usage Guidelines, in addition to the Legal Terms & Conditions which can be found at the end of this document.  
 
1.Usage Guidelines
1.1	We are here to help.  If you are new to this online community and are unsure about anything, just ask! The moderators and other participants are always happy to help. Metastorm moderators are identified by a "MOD" or “ADMIN” icon.
1.2	Keep it productive.  This online community is designed to provide a place for registered users to help each other.   For obtaining assistance directly from Metastorm, please take advantage of the phone or email options available on the support page or our website.
1.3	Keep it relevant.  For everyone's benefit please stay on topic. This online community is provided for the specific purpose of making it possible for you to help each other in using Metastorm products and services. Please refrain from discussing personal matters, abusing any company or product, or, in general, from posting in a manner unrelated to the direct resolution of issues expected in the support of Metastorm products and services.
1.4	Keep it courteous.  Everyone wants to have a positive experience while on the online community - please make sure that you are not detracting from any other user's experience. In particular, please refrain from posting anything unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable or injurious to third parties. Your opinions are always welcome, but personal attacks and harassment ("flaming") in either the online community or through private messaging are not acceptable.
1.5	Keep it spam-free.  This community is provided as a service and is not intended for the promotion of third party services, products, websites, or organizations. Please refrain from posting content that would constitute advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation.
1.6	Keep it legal.  It is unacceptable to post any material (i) that would infringe on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party, (ii) that contains software viruses or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware, or (iii) that is deemed to be illegal by any local, state, federal, or international law.
1.7	Be careful.  Most people are happy to help out on this online community, but remember that their advice is theirs only and that you are responsible for deciding whether or not to follow it. If the advice given by a user sounds wrong to you, do not try it. In particular, if any user asks you for personal information, such as an account number, address, password or credit card number, do not provide it.
1.8	Metastorm retains the right to remove content and limit users' access.  Metastorm does not generally edit or monitor content posted by participants in its online community; however, Metastorm retains the right, at its sole discretion, to limit users' access to the online community and to remove material that, in Metastorm' sole judgment, does not comply with the present Usage Guidelines or with the Legal Terms & Conditions, or that is otherwise inappropriate for this online community, harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate. Metastorm also retains the right to assign such right to some members of the community. Metastorm is not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such material.  Moderators may take any action they deem necessary in their own judgment to support the Usage Guidelines and Legal Terms & Conditions, and, in general, that can detract from the experience of other users or the purpose of the support community. Such actions may include editing or deleting material and banning individual 	users.
